Lynn Marie Wittle of Amiss ville finished second in the Old Dominion 100-mile' endurance ride, held Saturday, June 9, from the Regional 4-H Center east of Front Royal. Patty Alexander of Flint Hill was one of the top 10 finishers in the 60mile ride, and her husband, John, finished in the 100mile ride.

Nearly 60 horses entered each of the two divisions of the endurance ride, but only 16 finished the 100-mile contest, while 33 lasted out the 50-mile course.
