Andy and Margaret Williams were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Stephens in Irvington, Va., for the wedding of their daughter, Elynor. Mr. and lira. Stephens are the owners of the Tides Inn, one of America’s finest old inns located by the Rappahannock River near the Chesapeake Bay. Andy and Margaret had a lovely time at the reception which was held at the Stephens’ home.
Frank and Doris Donald have returned from a twoday trip to Kansas City, Mo. They attended the annual meeting of the Women’s Southern Baptist Convention which is held in various cities each year. They truly eiyoyed themselves.
Father's Day for Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fri-denstine was spent with their son, Neal, and his wife, Judy, and their two children in Lancaster, Va., where Neal and Judy have a home on the Rappahannock River. They took Mr. and Mrs. Fridenstine sailing on the river and out in the Chesapeake Bay in their 40-foot Hoyeta vessel. What a wonderful warm and sunny day it was! The grandchildren, 16-year-old David and 13year-old Lynn, were diving off the boat into the glistening water. Later, they dined in the galley with the fragrance of the sea and the sounds of distant sea gulls. What a gratifying day that must have been for the whole family.
It was togetherness time for most of the Schoppet family as the Warren County relatives came trotting over to Castleton for the annual celebration of Father’s Day at Richard and Nancy's house. The grandparents, Charlie and Dottie and Smitty and Marie, and daughter Laurie all arrived in time to watch the fresh scallops being sauteed over the pill. The very special and honored nsst o# the day was Aunt Hdw HoDidge from Hyattsvifie, Md., who has always enjoyed herself
