Six $1,000 scholarships, provided by DeKalb AgResearch Inc. of Dekalb, 111. , are available to current 4-H members who are interested in agricultural careers. In addition, the recipients will attend the 63rd National 4H Congress, Nov. 25-29, in Chicago as guests of the company. Last year’s winners came from Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa.
A $1,000 scholarship, donated by the Education Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho of Des Plaines, ID., goes to a current 4-H member who will be enrolled as a college freshman this fall.
