Mrs. W. A. Moore and her granddaughter, Noel Ward of Front Royal, have returned home after spending 10 days with Mrs. Moore’s son and daughterin-law, CMSGT and Mrs. William A. Moore, Jr., and son, William Moore III, at Hickam Air Force Base at Honolulu, Hawaii. While there they also visited several other islands and attended William’s graduation from high school. William accompanied them home and will spend several weeks here with his grandmother.
Bill Welch of Oxford, N. C., spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Roland Welch, at her home Mountain View.
Miss Joyce Walker of Arlington spent Father’s Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mae Walker.
Jack Curtis has returned home after spending two weeks with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Curtis at Tulsa, Okla.
Mrs. Nill Brill of Alexandria has been spending a few days this week in the Curtis home.
Mrs. Barbara Gentry sang in the chorus at the Twilite Concert presented by the Winchester chapter of the American Guild of Organists at the Market St. Methodist Church in Winchester on Sunday evening. The program included popular choruses and solos.
Wade Pullen spent the weekend with Mrs. Annie Ridenour at Stephens Citv.
