School Needs Food, Bus Driver
The Rappahannock County School Food Service Department now will receive bids on frozen meat, canned or frozen vegetables, fruit and and milk. Bid proposal sheets can be picked up in the school board office in Sperryville. All bids must be received by July 16.
The school board also is accepting applications for a school bus driver. Applications can be obtained at the school board office Monday through Friday, 8:90 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Applicants must be submitted to Judith Atkins, administrative secretary, by 4 p.m., July 19.

Hie Rappahannock News staff hopes readers like the new look of their county newspaper. Now six columns, rather than eight, the paper lends itself to earner reading, according to readership surveys.
The updated design is consistent with a current program to standard the newspaper industry nation-wide.
The hew format also will enhance advertising, providing for uncluttered, "deanet** pages.
No rate Increases to advertisers have been built into this change. The six-column format promises to generate even greater ad response than before.
