John S. Weaver was a visitor Thursday of J. Stant Weaver. They spent Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda in Griffinsburg.

Dr. and Mrs. Mervyn Jefferies of Bethesda, Md. spent the weekend at their property, “Howth Hill.”

Mrs. Silas O’Bannon entertained Mrs. Mary Quaintanee and Mrs. Brown Miller of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser at the Amissville Fire Hall on Saturday.

Angela Smith of Albany, Ga. will be visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Alice R. Wood for several weeks. * Mrs. Alice Beahm attended the Clatterbuck family reunion at the Flint Hill fire hall on Sunday. Mrs. Beahm was a dinner guest Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. John Clark, Jr., Stacey and Amanda.
