Pat Heltner, the Service Unit Chairman of the Junior Girl Scout Program in Rappahannock County, would like to announce that their program has been completely re-organized.
There will now be ONE troop of 50 girls that will meet once a month. There will be 4 patrols that will meet more often, and they will be called Amissville, Flint Hill, SperryvilleCastleton, and Washington.
The 1st meeting of the whole group will be in August and will be announced later, it will be a “pool party”!
They would love to have new members, and all current members are urged to continue, and any old members that have dropped out are encouraged to come back to this new and contemporary arrangement of the program.
All 4th, 5th and 6th grade girls are cordially invited. So help your daughter, sister, neighbor’s daughter, granddaughter, and so on become a more courteous, friendly, cheerful, healthftil citizen! Remember what Herbert Hoover said - “Children are our most valuable natural resource”.
