Rappahannock's board of supervisors gave its final nod to the budget for fiscal '84-’85 during the board’s regular meeting July 2.
The total budget of $4,176,284 is up one-half million from fiscal ’83-’84 expenditures.
The real estate levy per $100 of assessed value now is $0.50, up from $0.42 last year.
Personal property taxes stay the same, $5.60 per $100 of assessed value.
The board’s agenda was unusually light, otherwise. The supervisors considered several topics brought to their attention during the public portion of the meeting, among them:
