Navy Airman William C. Lancaster, Jr., 9on of Rev. and Mrs. William Lancaster, has returned from a six month deployment. He is a member of Attack Squardon 176, based at Naval Air Station Ocean, Virginia Beach and embarked abroad the aircraft carrier USS Independence. The squardon received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for its participation in “Operation Urgent Fury” in Grenada
during the beginning of deployment. Also the squardon provided air support for the Multi-National Peacekeeping Forces in Beriut, Lebanon, earning the Navy Expeditionary Medal.
Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church of which Rev. William Lancaster is pastor, will be having revival services July 8-13 each evening at 8 p.m. Rev. Richard Gardner of the Peninsula Baptist Association of Newport News, will conduct the services and the public is invited.
