Henry H. Jackson

Mr. Henry Hoover Jackson, 66, of Washington, Va. died Sunday, July 1 in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. He was a farm laborer. Mr. Jackson was a native of Rappahannock County and a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church at Woodville.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy L. Jackson of Washington; three daughters; Mrs. Dorothy Starks, Washington, Bliss Hattie E. Jackson, Jeffersonton, and Mrs. Dollie M. Atkins, Sperryville; six grandchildren; five brothers, John Jackson, Fairfiuc, Thomas Jackson, Latham, Md., Ned Jackson, Falls Church, Pete Jackson, Washington, D. C. and Freddie Jackson, Sperryville; two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Wigington, Vienna, and Mis. Alice Matthews, Sperryville.

Funeral services were held at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Woodville, July 4 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. John Pendleton of Flint Hill. Burial was in the family section of the church cemetery.

W. C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
