Miss Penny Lynn Chadwell and Phillip John Kardis, II were joined in matrimony on June 1 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Falls Church.
Penny is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Chadwell of Huntly. She is a 1979 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and a 1984 graduate of the BSN program at George Mason University.
Phillip is the son of Col. and Mrs. Robert Blinn of Fairfax and Phillip J. Kardis of Altor, 111. He is a 1979 gradual* of Randolph Macon Academy and is presently doing biological research at George Washington University.
Hie Rev. Robert and Marybeth Blinn sang “The Wedding Song”, “Avio Maria” and In Remembrance of Me” during the ceremony. They were accompanied by Miss Angie Kardis.
Hie bride wore a long cathedral length gown with a sweetheart neckline and short sleeves. The bodice was covered with Alecon lace and the skirt was made of chiffon with schiffle lace trim. The bride also wore a cathedral length camelot veil with matching schiffle lace, her dress was accented with a string of pearls and matching earrings. Her bouquet was made from
