Mrs. Mary BlaisdeU attended the 50th anniversary of Lions Clube of Front Royal for a dinner-dance meeting at the fire hall in Front Royal recently. Mrs. BlaisdeU was a recent overnight guest of Mrs. Fred Pearson at Front Royal.

The following news occurred during the past week and weekend.

The Flint Hill Bridge Club was entertained on Monday, July 23 at the home of Mrs. Emory Russell.

Prizes went to Mrs. Frank Spalding, Mrs. Walter J. Curtis, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr. and Mrs. L. B. Burford.

Others playing were Mrs. Earl Edmonds, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Thomas Eastham, Mrs. James Massie, Mrs. Richard Latham, Mrs. W. A. Moore, Mrs. Tom Massie and Mrs. Robert Eastham.

Mrs. James Garwood of McLean and Mrs. Owen Sealock were Wednesday visitors of their sister, Mrs. Roland Welch at her home at “Mountain View.” Mr. and Mrs. Roger Welch, Ryan and Courtney of Mt. Airy, Md. were Thursday overnight guests of their mother. Saturday evening guests of Mrs. Welch were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch and Dawn Welch.

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Nuchols and Jenny Nuchols of Jacksonville, Fla. spent from Friday until Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker. Miss Joyce Walker of Arlington arrived on Wednesday to spend a few days here with her parents.

Mrs. Grace Moore and her sister, Shirley of Chester Gap and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler and sons of Front Royal and Haywood Pullen were Saturday guests of Mrs. Wade Pullen. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Pearson of Hume
