NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Rappahannock County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 15,1984 at seven-thirty o’clock In the evening (7:30 p.m. EOT) in the Courtroom at the Courthouse Building in Washington, Virginia at which Rappahannock County taxpayers, landowners, and other affected persons may appear and present their views on the recommendation of the Planning Commission to the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors concerning the adoption of a comprehensive amendment to the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance. 1973 and the accompanying zoning maps to be known as the 1984 Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance. The proposed amendments represent a complete revision of said 1973 zoning ordinance, including new terminology, new zoning classifications and districts and a new zoning map, drafted in accordance with Title 15.1 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, and in accordance with the Rappahannock County Comprehensive plan adopted July 7,1980. The proposed amendment involves a change m the zoning map classification of more than five hundred (500) parcels of land Copies of the text of the proposed 1964 Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance are available for sale at the Clerk's Office, Washington. Virginia and from the Zoning Administrator for Rappahannock County, Virginia. A copy of the proposed zoning map is availabie for inspection at the Clerk's Office, Washington Virginia
