It was a real, Hawaiian feast this past weekend for the Kapu family as they enjoyed their backyard luau! Yes, Keoki even dug a big, hole in the ground for the pig while Boom Boom prepared the taro leaves for the roast. After the dinner, Keoki strummed a little, Hawaiian War Chant on the ukulele while daughter, Kalani shook her uli uli’s. All the neighbors were thrilled when Boom Boom brought over some kalua pig and poi! The pig was great but no one has mentioned the pio! Well, it takes some getting use to for ushaoles of the East. Aloha!!!!
