Green beans by the bushel, tomatoes by the box, zucchini by the pick-up truck load — Baptist minister Steve Scoggin has taken up an additional summertime job of offering these vegetables in quantity to would-be canners.
Scoggin is not trying to supplement his pastoral salary: Since last winter he’s been gardening for the benefit of his World Hunger Project.
