Speaking of Pat Helmer, she and her husband, Richard are proud to announce the 17th birthday on February 5 of their German Foreign Exchange student, Gaby Ringless. Telephone calls have been pouring in to Gaby from Germany, wishing her best wishes and happiness. Last Friday, the Helmers took her to a special, German restaurant in Stafford to celebrate and Pat cooked “American style” spareribs, Gaby’s favorite dish on her birthday. Lebe hoch!! Gaby is a junior at Rappahannock County High School and loves living here.
Don and Helen Fridenstine had a wonderful weekend with plenty of company. Their son Neal, and his wife Judy from Lancaster came over for the weekend and brought their dear friends, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Walker. The grandchildren, 16 year old, David and 13 year old, Lynn whom attend Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal joined in for the fun and Andy and Margaret Williams dropped by on Saturday night when everyone had a fantastic time playing yes - Trivial Pursuit!
