He was told that since Rappahannock is still in the regular phase of the insurance program that it does qualify for flood plane insurance. This was good news, esp Uy since construction of the sewage oystem is tentatively scheduled to begin in March.

Cilimberg did say, however, that Rappahannock still must send the flood plane section of its zoning ordinance to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for review. If it is found not to comply with state regulations, then the county could be dropped from the regular phase of the insurance program, which would disqualify Rappahannock for flood plane insurance.

Cilimberg also reported to the Board that the Sperry ville sewage project was found in compliance with the Clean Water Act.

Konick Resigns
