anything. But I do feel that the friends of the President, those who wish him nothing but success, have a duty and a responsibility to speak out to the President and tell him, hey, I don’t think you’re doing this right. I think you need to change in this area.

The pressures in Washington, D.C. are enormous, pulling every president to the left...Those who believe in the conservative principles have a duty to speak out when the liberals are pulling a president to the left... I think we have a duty to say “Mr. President, that person that you’ve appointed is a liberal; you shouldn’t do that, or he’s a moderate. There is a good conservative candidate who shares your views whose qualified for that position.”
