The question in your “State of the County” editorial in the Rappahannock News of January7 31, 1985, “Is government in Rappahannock County working the way you think it should work?” prompts even more questions which must be answered by a consensus of the community. “What is the goal and ultimate purpose of the future of the county?” What are the Supervisors, councilmen, the zoning board and the board of education doing about it? Are they just apologists for the “status quo?”
