Wakefield Owls Win
First Game Of Season

The Wakefield Junior Varsity Basketball team, the Owls, traveled to Charlottesville last week to play St. Anne’s-Bellfield and win their first game of the season. St. Anne’s took an early lead, but Wakefield struggled back in the third quarter to take over and maintain the lead in the hardfought 43-37 match. Junior David Rowzie scored 19 points for the Owls followed by Captain Larry TarFs 10 points.
