I think just about everybody — except a few Tip O’Neills and Dick Davis’ and Doug Wilders — would admit that government has gotten too big. Most liberals now even (think so). Government has just done too much for people. We just have to begin to get the government out of peoples’ lives. Government should be a neutral referee.
