Good Friday Closing

• Construction To Begin
Construction of the Sperryville Sewage Plant should begin within two weeks, according to Wayne Cilimberg, executive director of the Planning District Nine Commission. Cilimberg reported the good news to the supervisors in their April 1 regular meeting.
• Report On Solid Waste
Delegate Raymond R. “Andy” Guest, Jr. announced recently that he has received a copy of the booklet Low-Level Waste Management for Virginia, a 1985 report from the Virginia Solid Waste Commission. This booklet is available for inspection in Delegate Guest’s legislative office located at 27 South Royal Avenue, Room 450, in Front Royal.
• Booster Club Meeting
Monday, April 8 at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria the RCHS Boosters will plan a “Variety Show” for Friday evening, April 26 with our talented teens and surprise guests.

The Rappahannock Humane Society held its annual meeting on Thursday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the courthouse.
