Easier Methodist Services
The Rappahannock Charge of United Methodist Churches will have special Easter services. Maundy Thursday services will be held at the Willis Chapel Church on Thursday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. and will include the Lord’s Supper.
Good Friday service will be held at Sperryville Methodist on April 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Easter sunrise services are scheduled for 6:30 a.m. at the Flint Hill Church on Sunday with breakfast following at the fire hall.
Regular worship will be, held at Willis Chapfel on Sunday at 8:45 a.m. and at Sperryville at 10 a.m.
Easter Morning Breakfast At Forest Grove School
The Forest Grove Church women will serve an Easter morning breakfast from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at the Old Forest Grove School House. The menu will be fried apples, sausage, eggs, pancakes and coffee.
There will be no charge for the breakfast but donations to the church will be accepted from all desiring to help with the expenses. Everyone is invited to participate in the breakfast fellowship.
Easter Service At
Forest Grove Baptist
Easter Sunday morning at 11 a.m. there will be a worship service at the Forest Grove Baptist Church. Although this is not a regular meeting Sunday for the congregation the service has been planned and the public is invited to attend. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. The Rev. Alexander Walker is pastor of Forest Grove.
Special Service At Promise Land
On Sunday, April 7 immediately following the morning worship services at Promise Land Baptist Church near Washington there will be a special Easter program given by Lillian Aylor for the benefit of the building fund.
