The grazing period on acreage conservation reserve land closes April 30, 1985. The non-grazing period runs through October 1,1985.
Farmers participating in the 1985 acreage reduction programs are reminded *to be sure that cropland scheduled for the acreage conservation reserve meets the necessary cropping l equirements, and that conservation protection is established on the land as soon as possible after the spring planting period.
Farm program participants who do not adhere to harvesting and grazing restrictions, or fail to protect their idled cropland, will be out of compliance and could lose program benefits.
