Gottlieb and the other new volunteers are eager to start their Hospice work, and they think that the possible emotional stress on themselves would be worth the benefits for the patients, the families, themselves and the community. “It’s a great thing for a county like Rappahannock to have since usually Hospices are found in cities or suburbs,” Gottlieb said.
