of Fork Union wore weekend guests of Mrs. Frances Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown. On Saturday they attended the Jarvis-Brown wedding at Christ Church in Winchester.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins returned home Monday from their winter home in Clewiston, Florida.

Mrs. W.H. Curdle was a guest for several days of Mr. and Mrs. David Cordle and daughter. Devon in Williamsburg.

Mrs. R.E. Thompsen is recuperating at home after surgery at Fairfax Hospital. Her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Thompsen, who were enroute from Virginia Beach to their home in Detroit, Mich, visited her on Saturday.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance was hostess to a dinner at the Gourmet Restaurant in Orange last Thursday evening. Her guests included Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Mrs. Frances Thornton, Mrs. T.M. Johnston, also Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Jr., Miss Caroline Ellis and Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sandord, all of Orange.

Mrs. Nelson Nethers entered Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Saturday.
