Richard Griffith
Superintendent At Interpace
Richard C. Griffith, 64, of Windsor, Connecticut, died Friday, March 22 at his residence.
He was bom at Cloud, Va., in Rappahannock County and attended school at Woodville and Washington before completing high school at Brandy Station in Culpeper. He was the son of the late G. Cleveland and Annie Bruce Griffith.
Mr. Griffith was a superintendent at Interpace for 35 years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Gabriel Church and Elks Lodge 2060 of Windsor.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine Caramazza Griffith; two daughters, Suzanne Griffith of Mill Valley, California and Linda-Jo Griffith of Windsor; two sisters, Juanita Snellings of Bailey’s Crossroads and Nina Siirila of Sarasota, Florida; three grand nieces and twin grand nephews of Leavenworth, Kansas.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, March 26 at St. Gabriel Church by the Rev. Eugene Torpey.

The Rappahannock Garden Club met at the Mt. Lebanon Church at 1 p.m. for their March meeting.
Dorothy Davis introduced Dr. William McCoy, president of Lord Fairfax College. He gave a very interesting outline on services offered by the college. There are courses for most anyone interested in furthering their education.
