GREETINGS IN THE
NAME OF JESUS.
Jesus said in Mark 16:15 "Go. into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all creation. He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. He who believes not shall be condemned.” We at Family Worship Center are answering the call to proclaim the gospel (meaning “good news”) to all creation. God has put in in our hearts to pray for you, the people of Rappahannock County, and then go from door to door sharing the good news about Jesus. Our desire is not to convert anyone to our church, or to recruit new members. Our desire is simply to share the love of Jesus as He commanded us to do. Yes, we welcome you to come to Family Worship Center. But our primary concern is that you know Him as your Saviour and the Lord of your life.
The gospel or “good news", is that God loves you greatly and He has made a way through Jesus to set you free from sin and to give you everlasting life. John 3:16 says "For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave up His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
God's desire, and our desire, is that you believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died for you. Jesus said in John 3:3 that “Unless a man be bom again he cannot see the Kingdom of God." The scripture quoted in Mark said that those who do not believe shall be condemned. We come to you to share Jesus so that you will not be condemned, but may believe in Him and have eternal life. And so that you may know that He loves you and desires to take care of all your needs in life.
We do not knock on your door seeking to convert you to a way of thinking or to a religion. We seek only to share God's love with you and to introduce you to Jesus.
We take seriously the value of your soul. And so we come to you, not to argue, not to debate, but to share from the Bible the good news concerning Jesus. If you know Him personally already, we rejoice with you.
We look forward to meeting with you, friend. May you come to know personally the goodness, mercy, and love of our wonderful God.
