“It was the feeling of some of the council members that it was a loophole with regard to the ordinance that there was not a limitation on how many dwelling units can be built on a lot,” Kramer said. A resident of the town, Charles Eldred; asked what is considered a lot, and council member Brad Fisher replied that a lot is any existing lot and for new lots the requirement is a half acre minimum.
A town resident, Frank Reynolds, brought up the question of the definition of “dwelling unit,” whether or not that term would be a clear enough reference to a single family residence.
