JAZZERCISE-—the high energy workout that combines the total body conditioning benefits of aerobics with the fun of dance. Margaret Tylek Strawser of Amissville took your correspondent to her Jazzercise class in Warrenton last week, so she could experience this new fitness program. Wowie!! Pounds were flying in all directions!!
There were around 40 ladies or so, of all sizes, shapes and ages, doing lots of kicking, lunging, stretching and twisting to a variety of music. There’s plenty of inspiration from the spunky and talented instructor, Cindy Siler, who is professionally trained, licensed and has a great personality for motivation in the program.

Mr. and.Mrs. Donald Fridenstine’s daughter, Mrs. Laurence (Marie) Williams of Chatham, Massachusetts was in Washington, D.C. at the Hilton Hotel this past weekend conducting a seminar for autistic children. Marie is the Associate Director of the May Institute in Chatham, Mass., which houses and teaches the children. The Fridenstines delighted in seeing their daughter at work and enjoyed her company on Sunday.
Congratulations to Stevan and Marguerite Nikolajevic, who became grandparents for the second time on March 31st!! Their 8 lb. 6 oz. grandson, Mathew, was bom in Fairfax Hospital. The proud parents are Alex and Keri and the big, brother is Patrick, age three.
