For Bomberger, the line was drawn when the board of supervisors cut $120,000 from the budget proposed by the school board. “If the supervisors had come through with the budget proposed by the board, I would have stayed because I would have felt that somewhere down the line the salaries would come in line with the surrounding counties,” Bomberger °aid. “When the supervisors threw tha. budget out of the window, I felt demoralized and I felt that nothing was ever going to change.”
He said that he began teaching, not to make money, but because he thought he would enjoy it. “With my mathematics background, I’ve been told I could do better so, rather than just break from Rappahannock, I’m changing careers,” Bomberger said. “I’m going to make use of my talents,
