REPORT YOUR CROPS AND ACR - Producers have until July 15 to file acreage reports of their grain sorghum, com and ACR (set-aside). Crop reports are important, even if the farm is not enrolled in a current program.
These reports are used to establish future bases and yields for farm programs and crop insurance. Present crop bases may be protected even if no crop is planted, if a “zero” report is filed.
ACR must also be clipped at least once between June 30 and August 15 to help control the spread of noxious weeds.
