Terry, 37, a Patrick County lawyer, touts her experience as a prosecuter and, among other things, her involvement in the fight to prevent drunk driving. This year she was the chief House patron of legislation that raised the drinking age to 21.
Asked about the position she seeks, Terry said it is the job of an attorney general to utilize the state’s legal resources to their maximum potential. She can state in one sentence what her agenda as attorney general would be: “...to enact laws that promote a sound business climate, to provide greater protection of persons and property, to give greater consideration to the victims and witnesses of crimes, and to provide safer streets.”
