Mrs. Jean B. Moffett will be leaving Tuesday, July 16, for three months as a guest of her daughter, Mrs. D.C. Welling in Connecticut.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pennington spent the weekend at their summer place, Lewissetta near the Potomac. Bryant and Robin Lee, George Lee and Marelena Jenkins visited the Penningtons on Sunday for a day of fishing.
Fourth of July guests of Mrs. E.M. Jones were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kite and daughters, Frances, Sarah and Jackie of Luray and Ned Jones, Kristin and Will of Centreville. Mrs. L.J. Turner and Mrs. Henry Keyser also joined the family for dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. George R. Jenkins of Suffolk spent Wednesday and Thursday night with Mrs. Jenkins’ sisters, Mrs. Mary V. Updike and Miss Phyliss Vemer. They enjoyed visiting with friends and relatives on the 4th of July. The Jenkins spent Friday and Saturday night with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins in Sperryville and returned to their home in Suffolk on Sunday.
Mrs. Florence Gillham of California has returned to her home after spending several weeks with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Caldow. They visited relatives and friends in Clinton, Iowa and other cities.
