Bible School
Begins July 15
The Washington Baptist Church and Trinity Episcopal Church are sponsoring a vacation bible school which will be held at the Baptist Church July 15-19.
Classes will start at 9 a.m. and end at noon everyday. Snacks will be provided. The school is free of charge, and children from nursery age through teens are encouraged to attend.
There will be many activities for children to participate in everyday. Some are: singing old and new songs, learning crafts, recreation and at the end of the week there will be a picnic at the Rappahannock Recreational Center.
. The week will be a time for children of all ages to come together to socialize and learn about Christian values. No one doctrine will be taught during the week since the children will be taught about all Christians.

Settle Graduates
Keith Taylor Settle, son of Tansy S. Frazier of Castleton and the late Lee Taylor Settle graduated magna cum laude from Germanna Community College with a degree in Applied Science and Electronic Engineering Technology on May 31. He earned a 3.8 average.
