He added that the Emporium on Saturday was “real crowded, crowded enough to run us out of water by 11 o’clock.”
O’Bannon said the well would produce enough water to last an hour at a time.
“It would take a dozen wells to keep up with all the people we had” the first day, O’Bannon said.
