Bessie I. Forward

Mrs. Bessie Irene Forward, 87, of Washington, died on Oct. 10, 1985 at Three Rivers Area Hospital in Michigan. She was the widow of Irwin E. Forward.

Her survivors include two sons, M. Hal Forward, of Washington, and Irwin E. Forward, Jr., of Three Rivers, Michigan; two sisters, Mrs. Aaron Mann, of Homer, Michigan, and Mrs. John Southard, of Aljegan, Michigan; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held in Washington Masonic Cemetery on Oct. 20. The Rev. Steve Scoggin, of Washington Baptist Church, officiated.

Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
