I should like to offer a sincere apology to Rappahannock High School students, faculty, administrators and parents for misunderstandings that have possibly arisen from the recent press coverage of theft and vandalism at Wakefield.
While I am grateful for the interest of the Rappahannock News in the matter, I think that both the emphasis of your article and your unfortunate headline have helped cause some hard feelings that need to be dispelled.
