Community Good Friday service The members of the Washington Baptist and Trinity Episcopal Churches extend an invitation to the community to join them in a service of remembrance of the Passion at the Washington Baptist Church Friday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Jennings Hobson and Rev. Steve Scoggin will be joined by the choir from the two churches in leading this worship experience.
‘Coping with the blahs9 A workshop series on “Coping with the Blahs” will be held on Tuesday, April 1, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal parish hall. The session is free and open to all members of the community. Lee Nettles, Clinic Site Supervisor of Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock County, will lead the workshop. Other topics in the series will include “Discipline and Children”, “Coping with Alzheimer’s Disease”, “Substance Abuse” and “Religion and Mental Health.” ‘Chinatown’ Chinatown will be playing at the Gay Street Theatre on March 29 and 30. The film stars Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway and John Huston.
