In recognition of the diversified services of our expanded health care system, Culpeper Memorial Hospital is currently involved In corporate restructuring.
Four corporations under the direction of the parent CMH Health Corporation now divide the functions of the organization. The CMH Health Corporation is governed by a board of trustees who continue to be elected by community membership.
Culpeper Memorial Hospital provides hospital services with other functions being handled by the new subsidiaries.
The CMH Foundation is responsible for management of the Endowment Fund and is charged with the responsibility of expanding citizen involvement and base of support. In addition, the Foundation will sponsor community information forums on medical issues, provide community relations and fund raising activities for the system.
The CMH Real Estate Corporation oversees and manages properties of the various corporations.
Since the four corporations are managed by exisiting administration, there is no perceptible change In the operation of these subsidiaries. There are significant advantages to the whole organization and to the community, however.
