Catherine Brown

Catherine Johnson Brown, 61, died Thursday, March 20, 1986, at her residence at Reva. Mrs. Brown was a native of Madison County and had lived in Reva many years.

She was a member of Novum Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Elzy Brown, Jr., of Reva; one daughter, Patricia Brown Call of Ruckersville; three sons, Oliver Lee Brown and Michael Franklin Brown, both of Reva, and Charles Henry Brown of Keswick, and five grandchildren.

Additional survivors include five sisters, Dorothy Brittian and Annie L. Duryea, both of Florida, Edna Mossburg of Bethesda, Md., Grace Hollar of Culpeper and Mattie Aylor of Reva, and one brother, Preston Johnson of West Virginia.

Graveside services were held Sunday, March 23, at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Eaton officiating.

Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
