Volunteer training program The Women's Abuse Shelter Inc. will hold a volunteer training program on April 7, 10, 14 and 17 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Culpeper Presbyterian Church. The sessions will provide information on the social and psychological dynamics of spouse abuse, legal issues, community resources and crisis counseling skills. The shelter provides services to battered women and children in Rappahannock, Fauquier, Culpeper, Orange and Madison counties. RAA meeting April 2 The Rappahannock Athletic Association will meet on April 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the high school. Plans for the upcoming baseball season will be discussed and election of officers will be held. Everyone interested in Little League and Jr. Babe Ruth Baseball is encouraged to attend.

Easter puppet show An Easter puppet show will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Child Care and Learning Center. Extension clubs to meet The Woodville Extension Homemakers Club will meet on Tuesday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodville Baptist Church. The Washington Club will also meet on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Joe Crews.
