St. Peter’s Catholic Mission
On Thursday at 7 o’clock an evening mass of the Lord’s Supper will be held.
Good Friday services include morning prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours and Rosary “sorrowful mysteries” at the Rectory' at 8:30 a.m.; at 3 p.m. “Stations of the Cross” in the Chapel and at 7 p.m. a celebration of the Lord’s Passion will be held at the Chapel. The Chapel will be open all day for prayer and meditation on Good Friday.
A 7 p.m. service will be held on Holy Saturday and Holy Mass will be said on Easter Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. Joint sunrise services planned
The Amissville, Forest Grove, and Woodville Baptist Churches will be observing the celebration of Easter by holding a joint Easter sunrise service beginning at 5:45 a.m. Easter Sunday on Red Oak Mountain in Rappahannock County. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be moved to the Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown.
After the worship service, a breakfast will be served at the Forest Grove Schoolhouse in Viewtown. All those attending the services are invited to attend.
