Beekeeping is full of uncertain^ ties brought on by high bbe mortality from natural causes, from chemical sprays, from the uncertainties of the weather, and from the depredations of wild animals (bears, skunks, mice, etc.). Beekeepers, however, remain optimistic and steadfast. They agree with Aristotle who said of honey: “It is the dew distilled from the stars and the rainbow.”
