David Chapman III
David V. Chapman III, 53, of Glen Allen, died Saturday, March 8, 1986.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelin M. Chapman; one daughter, Carey C. Chamberlin of Petersburg; three sons, W. Lee Chapman of Norfolk, D. Van Chapman IV and W. Scott Chapman of Richmond; two step-sons, William and John Petzold, both of Richmond; a sister, Betty Lewis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his father, David V. Chapman, Jr., and his paternal grandmother, Grace B. Chapman, both of Richmond.
Mr. Chapman was a graduate of VPI. He had been a salesman with Crane Company and Goldberg and Company and was presently employed with Esselte Pendaflex Corp.
Mr. Chapman was born in Sperryville on November 18, 1932.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, March 11, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Richmond. Burial was in West Hampton Memorial Park.
