the Pont d’Avignon, and several sites of Roman ruins. From Avignon the students will enjoy a scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast, arriving in Nice, the capital of the French Riviera, where they will spend the final days of their trip.
There they will visit the Chagall Museum, the Promenade des Anglais, and the small Principality of Monaco.
Spring trips to Europe are a favorite of Wakefield students, and this excursion to the south of France is expected to be an educational as well as enjoyable experience for all.
