The United Methodist Women of the Flint Hill Church met on Monday evening, April 21, at the home of Mrs. Moe Walker.

Mrs. Bruce Bowie of Culpeper spoke to the group on her tour of duty with the Peace Corps in the Philippines.

Those present were Mrs. Claude Cook, Mrs. Homer East, Mrs. Jack Curtis, Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Dabney Eastham, Mrs. Earl Duvall, Mrs. M. H. Brady, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Phil Lamma, Mrs. John Miller, Mrs. Wade Pullen, Mrs. Doug Bywaters, Mrs. Robert Eastham, Mrs. Clarence McCulloch, Mrs. Bill Welch and Mrs. Barbara Gentry.

The Flint Hill Extension Homemakers Club met April 22 with Mrs. Sandra Jenkins. Members present were Polly Payne, Alice Pullen, Flo Duvall, Ethel Pullen and Russie Miller.

Paul Louis Miller, Jr., of White Post was a dinner guest Sunday of his mother Mrs. Paul Miller.

Bemie Gilpin and Mrs. Ethel Pullen were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. Gilpin’s daughter Mrs. Terry McCaffrey and family at Sterling.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Welch and children, Ryan and Courtney, of Mt. Airy, Md., spent the weekend with Mr. Welch’s mother, Mrs. Roland Welch at Mountain View. Joining them Sunday were Mrs. Owen Sealock and Bill Welch and family.

Visiting Mrs. Wade Pullen Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cook of Amissville and Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Pearson of Hume.

Mrs. Doug Bywaters and Mrs. Wade Pullen visited Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler and sons in Front Royal Friday.

Dinner guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Bunny Hudson were Sue Walters, Renee Calisto and Nancy Hudson.

Robert L. Massie of Richmond spent the weekend with his mother Mrs. Robert Spalding. Saturday they visited Mrs. Alice Clarke Hopkins in Alexandria.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wade of Chantilly.

Tommy Lillard and Mary Knox of North Carolina spent the weekend with Mr. Lillard’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard. Joining them were Christine Lillard and Steven Lillard of Castleton, Mrs. Debra Clatterbuck and Donald Berry of Front Royal and Mrs. Diane Dellinger and family of Reliance. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lillard of Gainesville were dinner guests Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Curtis visited her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. James Todd in Fairfax Sunday.
