This weekend will mark the beginning of a new year for the Sperryville Antique Market. The market, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays, will hold a re-opening celebration this Saturday and Sunday.

New dealers and craftsmen from the area include Tom Van Fange of Woodville, who will be displaying a -variety of handcrafted fiimiture, Tom and Danielle Junk of Sperryville, Ruby Beck and Ethel Gore, both from Culpeper, Nadine Barret of Warrenton, a dealer in country furniture, and Betty and Jerry Wilson, also of Warrenton, who trade in antiques and collectibles.

The market also features a snack bar stocked with homemade subs, breads, and desserts for weary treasure hunters. This year Mazie Clark will be in charge of the snacks and refreshments. Also available at the market are a variety of flowers, bedding plants, and hanging baskets.
