As an alternative, Mr. Eastham suggested contracting with a neighboring county to take the dry solids left after wastewater is processed in the Sperryville plant. He announced that he had it from a “good authority” in Fauquier that the supervisors there “might well consider on some reasonable terms” taking the limited volume of sludge generated here — sludge that will require no more than one acre per year for land application. “Fauquier County has chosen to let it pour in over there . . .
