Last week being Historic Garden Week, on Monday Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley with friends Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalzgraf of Fairview Beach and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Timms of Placid Bay toured homes in the Upperville area and places of interest, including Ayrshire, Atoka Farm, West view Farm, The Hut at Foxlease Farm, Herron’s Court and Trinity Episcopal Church.
The third annual quilt show was held April 24, 25 and 26 at the Methodist Church in Leesburg and Miss Debra DeBergh exhibited three of her antique quilts. She also entered her quilts at a show in Culpeper recently and won a ribbon. Congratulations, Debra.
Mrs. Mary E. Burke was a supper guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons.
